The winner of the Emutex Software Innovator Of The Year Scholarship 2014 is UCC student Gerard Prunty.
Gerard’s ambitious goal of sending a Galileo to the Earth's Stratosphere involved interfacing with a number of sensors as well as communicating between Intel's Galileo and the Arduino Uno. The level of innovation, software and problem solving involved was evident throughout this ambitious project.
