EMBEDDED SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
We work with semiconductor and embedded systems OEMs to “bring-up” their new microprocessors and boards. We adopt, modify and develop operating system kernels and device drivers for Linux, RTOS and bare-metal solutions.
NETWORK PACKET PROCESSING ACCELERATION
We work with IT/telecom OEMs and service providers to maximise network traffic throughput rates and enable VNF in their Linux based enterprise servers. We integrate DPDK and virtualization technologies including Docker containers.
We seek the expertise of a full-time Software Project Manager who will assume the important reponsibility of accuratley planning, leading and managing a number of internal and external projects.

Roles and Responsability
Plan, lead and manage the execution of small/medium size software engineering projects through their full life-cycle, from concept through to product delivery.
Work with customers to gather accurate project requirements and expectations.
Prepare project plans and project contracts.
Accurately and effectively manage stakeholders, e.g. customers, contributors, management.
Oversee all software configuration management and quality assurance activities.
Lead the continuous improvement of software engineering processes.
Effectively manage churn within projects, ensuring optimal performance of engineering teams.
Essential Skills required
At least 5 years of proven experience in managing software development projects through their full life-cycle.
Proven ability to negotiate with customers and contributors to form requirements and plans.
High attention to detail in all aspects of project planning, management and oversight.
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work on own initiative in a dynamic and fast-paced business environment.
Good understanding of software and electronics technology.
Expert in the use of Microsoft Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
Advantageous Skills
Formal project management qualification, e.g. PMP.
5 years + hands-on experience in the design and development of software.
Experience of software version control systems and bug trackers, e.g. Subversion, Trac.
